I was at a gym for a couple of years. I was forever annoyed by the inconsiderate few. You know, the ones who 1) take over 2 or 3 pieces of equipment at a time when the gym is really busy and 2) don't wipe the equipment down after they're done. #2 became especially important to me when covid started and I dropped my membership as the staff there never seemed motivated to enforce their own rules.
I've been cycling since then. However, it's not a complete exercise and it's clear that I've lost a lot of upper body strength and my cycling could benefit from more core strength. So time to start thinking about a gym membership once again - there's a Y not far from our house within an easy bike ride - time to pull out the commuter bike from my working days I suppose.
