Same and my AA changes based on portfolio size, which is updated daily in my spreadsheet. So my spreadsheet really dictates when I rebalance. In that case, yes my tracking does affect my investing, but at the same time, the methodology of my AA has not changed in 20 years so I am not "active" in my investing because of said tracking. My tracking spreadsheet has shown clearly when my asset mix is outside my targeted asset allocation.
That has led me to rebalance, both within equities (sell domestic, buy international) and between asset types (sell equities, buy fixed income).
