Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Merchants and card surcharges - are they allowed? Has it changed how you spend?

I’m expecting credit cards to be used less and less...It is “old folk” hanging on the old ways as the underlying exchange of payment is changing.
At least 95% of the money I spend on buying stuff is using credit cards because of the rewards, convenience, and security of cards.

Admittedly, I buy too much stuff now as it is... if I had to spend an extra 3% then I just wouldn't spend quite as much. And that extra 3% would be a behavior modifier to just not spend as much as I refuse to use a debit card or carry much cash around.

I'd go "old school" and keep one blank, paper check in my wallet too. I still have a leather wallet in my pocket and not just a digital wallet on my phone.
