I have not tried any other HAs. If Costco does not carry it its too good for meEZ James wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:52 pm
The strongest Costco hearing aids (Phonak) did not improve intelligibility for me so I don’t use them.
To survive this problem I found an app (CaptionCall) that converts voice to text on the phone. The first time I used it was for a 911 call when I broke my leg a few months ago and it worked very well.
For in-person voice to text conversion I use an app called NALscribe which works well. It is a free app with no ads courtesy of the Australian government. I am American but had no problems signing up.
great info.
Did you try other Hearing Aids besides the "Phonak) from Costco or not from Costco and also foiund them marginal or not useful??
What other tpes have you tried?
Takc care of your broken leg.
