You should get information on recent recorded activities on the house, you may have to visit your local county recorder but perhaps they're available online. The Medicaid lien should identify an agency, either a local or state office with an address. Contact the Medicaid agency and ask them what their lien/foreclosure procedure is. You may also want to contact the bank or the mortgage service for the loan and ask them what their foreclosure process is. Perhaps each of them might tell you who their attorney/contact person is for foreclosures/collections in your area.
