Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Retirement Roth Conversions Strategy sound?

For a taxable account, wouldn't you want to invest it in a Total Stock Market ETF instead of a mutual fund?
Vanguard VTI and VTSAX are substantially identical and exactly the same tax-efficiency, so it is personal preference for which of the two one uses. One can even use both if one wants to. Also note that VTI (the ETF) is an index fund. The "F" in ETF is "Fund."
